Iroko wood is a type of wood interesting for its characteristics that make it very resistant to temperature variations and humidity and for this reason it is used in indoor and outdoor environments. It comes from the countries of Equatorial Africa (Kenya, Angola, Sierra Leone and Congo) and belongs to the Moraceae family. The tree from which this wood is made is considered sacred by many African populations, who have always used it to build their houses. Its leaves have beneficial properties and are used for the preparation of natural remedies for health, such as tinctures and infusions.
The wood used is first choice and very seasoned, the color is natural in order to enhance the original grain.
It is protected with a transparent acrylic varnish that protects the wood from stains and facilitates cleaning.
For maintenance, just a damp cloth is enough to remove all traces of dirt.
